Hall of Honor
In her time at Eastern, Kate was an attacking force on the lacrosse field and an outstanding student in the music education program.
Heading into her junior season, Eastern had lost in the conference championship game in four straight years and had gone 11 years without a championship.
In the 2006 PAC Championship game at Cabrini, she scored the game-winner with less than a minute to play. Â
Â
The next year was even more impressive. She scored 90 goals and was third nationally in points and goals per game. In a 14-12 overtime win against a 12-3 Lycoming team, Hoy scored 10 goals.
She repeated her late-game heroics at Cabrini with another goal in the final seconds to secure a second PAC title. She had seven goals in the Championship game and was named PAC Player of the Year for the second straight season.
She earned IWLCA All-America honors in 2007. In the history of Eastern Women's Lacrosse, she is second in career goals, assists, and points. At the time of her induction, Kate Hoy Kramer became the youngest member of Eastern’s Hall of Honor.
