ST. DAVIDS, Pa.— Eastern University Athletics' Hall of Honor Committee announced that the Department will honor five individuals as its 2026 Hall of Honor Class. The Hall's 18th class will include Ron Johnson '13 from Men's Lacrosse, Kevin Standford '99 from Men's Basketball, and Stephanie Moyer Martin '08, Lindsay Moyer Faro '10, and Brittany Moyer Cutarelli '13 from Field Hockey. The Hall of Honor Induction will be on Sept. 19 on campus in Clemens Hall, which is located in the new Templeton Hall. 

After presenting the group at halftime of the football game against Lebanon Valley, Eastern Athletics will welcome this class in ceremony that starts at 4:45. Doors will open for an hors d'oeuvres reception starting at 3:30. Family, friends, and teammates are all encouraged to join the celebration. A link for reservations will be made available soon.

Johnson, an All-American defensive midfielder from Carlsbad, Calif. played a critical role in helping Eastern Lacrosse to its first two conference championships. He scored twice and forced a pair of turnovers in Eastern's 12-11 overtime win over Widener in the 2012 MAC Championship game. The following year, Johnson capped his career with four caused turnovers in a 22-6 win in the first-ever MAC Freedom Championship game.

He finished his career with 27 goals, 22 assists, 149 ground balls, and 53 caused turnovers. Johnson earned first-team all-league honors in each of his final three seasons and was a USILA Honorable Mention All-American in 2013. Eastern went 49-16 in his four seasons. Eastern Men's Lacrosse had won 33 games in its first nine seasons and never had a winning record before 2010.

He will be the third Eastern Men's Lacrosse athlete to be inducted into Eastern's Hall of Honor. He joins former teammates Aaron Benz '13 and Grant Ferguson '15.

Standford, a three-time All-PAC performer, finished his career with 1564 points in 94 games. The guard from North Haledon, N.J. shot nearly 38% from behind the arc and averaged 5.8 rebounds per game for his career. He scored 540 points in his senior season and earned First-Team All-PAC Honors. In his final year, he averaged 21.6 points per game. No Eastern Men's Basketball player has averaged over 20 points a game since.

Since graduation, Standford has shared his passion for Basketball as a teacher, coach, and role model at Hawthorne Christian Academy. Standford will be the sixth member of the Hall of Honor honored primarily as a Men's Basketball player. He joins Tony Campolo '56, Kenny Coull '93, Antoine Harden '96, Bob LaDrew '67, and David Lewis '68.

The Moyer sisters were a fixture on the field hockey field for nearly a decade. In the nine campaigns from Stephanie's first season in 2004 to Brittany's final year in 2012, Eastern Field Hockey went 135-58, won six league titles, and reached three more championship games.

Martin was a four-year starter on defense who finished her career with 15 goals and 24 assists. She earned All-PAC Honors three times and was recognized as an All-South Atlantic Region performer in 2007. The Eagles reached the PAC Championship game in each of her first two seasons before breaking through with a pair of late goals to claim the 2006 PAC title with a shutout win over an 18th-ranked Alvernia team in the PAC Championship game. She recorded an assist on the 59th-minute goal that sealed the win.

The 2006 season was Eastern Field Hockey's first season with two Moyer's on the field.

Faro, a midfielder, played in 88 games over her four-year career and finished with 47 goals and 29 assists while winning three league titles. She earned NFHCA All-America honors in 2008 and was a three-time All-South-Atlantic Region performer. She claimed all-league honors in each of her four seasons and was the Freedom Conference Player of the Year in 2008.

Faro played without a sister on the field for 2008 before younger sister Brittany arrived to play forward in 2009.

Cutarelli joined forces with her older sister and other talented teammates to win a Freedom Conference Championship and finish the 2009 season with an 18-5 mark. Though she finished her career with 45 goals and 50 assists, she scored just four times and picked up just two assists in her rookie campaign. The goals she scored, however, were big ones. She scored the only goal in a 1-0 win at Franklin & Marshall, and she scored once in each game against Freedom Conference finalist King's College.

Cutarelli, who is already in the Hall of Honor as a member of the 2010 Team. Over her final three seasons, she earned First-Team All-Freedom Conference Honors  and was recognized as an All-South-Atlantic Region Performer.  In 2012, she led all Division III with 29 assists. No other player had 20 assists that year. She added 17 goals and earned NFHCA First-Team All-America Honors.

She had three goals and seven assists in two games in the Freedom Conference Tournament, and in the NCAA Tournament, she scored in the 53rd minute to tie the game at 1-1 at F & M, and the Eagles eventually won deep in overtime. Early in the season, she scored the only goal of the game in the third minute to help her side to a win over a ranked Messiah team.

Cutarelli holds the single-season and career records for assists (29) and points (63) and is behind only Danielle Prescott, Terri Heim, and Beth Sellers on Eastern's career points list. In her time, the Eagles won four league titles. The sisters will join five other field hockey individuals in the Hall of Honor.

The Eastern University Hall of Honor  recognizes individuals for their contribution to Eastern Athletics and the Eastern community as athletes, coaches, administrators, or alumni. A student-athlete must wait five years after graduation before being considered for induction.
