Hall of Honor
Amy Dutra Dantzler joined Eastern's Hall of Honor on Sept. 13, 2025. Barb Herzlich, her former coach, introduced her.Â
In her time at Eastern, Dantzler dominated the lacrosse field. Her 216 goals and 67 assists came in a time where Eastern Women's Lacrosse played about 11 games per year. When she graduated, she held the program record for career goals and assists, and her 76 goals in 13 games in 1995 stood as a program record until Andrea Collesidis broke that mark with a 94-goal season in 18 games in 2000. She played an important role in helping the Eagles to a 1994 PAC Championship. At the time of induction, she still held Eastern's single-game scoring record. Twice, she scored 11 goals in a game.Â
At Eastern, she was involved in multiple service organizations and also excelled on the Field Hockey field.Â
She is the fourth woman inducted for accomplishments in lacrosse.
