Box Score ORLANDO, Fla. - Eastern Men's Tennis failed to tally a point against Johnson & Wales Monday night as they fell 9-0. Grant Williams and Kyle Berner fought hard in their singles matches but fell just short of claiming wins. 

Williams fought hard but fell in straight sets to Nick Auffret 6-3, 6-3.  "Grant fought hard and competed well," said Head Coach Mark Spangler. "There are things we need to work on, but he battled hard and did some good things to stay in the match."

Berner also turned in a solid performance in his singles match but would lose in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. "I felt like Kyle did some very good things in his match to stay in it until the very end," stated Spangler. "He fought hard, and that's all I can ask of him." 

"Overall they were just a better team than us today," concluded Spangler. "We need to work on a lot of things before the next match, but I saw some flashes of good things today from our guys." 

Eastern travels to Rosemont on March 14th.
