Football Game Day Details

We've established guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all fans. Our policies, including tailgating rules, are designed to enhance the game day experience while prioritizing safety, community, and respect. Whether you're a seasoned fan or joining us for the first time, we invite you to embrace the spirit of camaraderie as we cheer on our team to victory!

The Physical Address of the entrance to the field is 40.055594, -75.387954 but 850 Radnor Street Road will get you close. 


Eastern Football plays its home games at Radnor Street Road. 

The Physical Address of the entrance to the field is 40.055594, -75.387954 but 850 Radnor Street Road will get you close. There is parking at the field and in the adjacent  Church of the Saviour lot. These lots will be available on a first-come first served basis. NO RV's are allowed in these lots. 

There is a designated Susquehanna Tailgate lot at the Valley Forge Military Academy Parade Grounds. The entrance to that lot is off Eagle Road. This is a reasonable walk to the stadium, but there will also be shuttle service provided as well. (For perspective, the second hole at St. Davids Golf Club is a par-4.) All visiting tailgate activities will be at the Parade Grounds.

There will be parking with shuttle service in the Athletics lot at the Cabrini Campus of Villanova University.  Through our contract with Villanova, there is absolutely no tailgating allowed at the Cabrini Lot.

Eastern Students are encouraged to use the shuttle service running from the McInnis Lot on campus. Fans can also park in the McInnis lot and ride the shuttle to the game. 

All of the lots are within a six-minute shuttle ride. 

To expedite entry into the stadium, fans are encouraged to by tickets ahead of time at this link
Tickets can be purchased with cash or credit at the gate as well. 
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children aged 5-17. Children 4 and under are free. 

 

When:

  • All tailgating activities can begin no earlier than 3 hours prior to the start of the contest.  Tailgating is not permitted once the game starts.  Tailgaters may tailgate for up to 1 hour after the conclusion of the competition.

Safety and Housekeeping:

  • Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted.  
  • No open fires or charcoal grills are permitted.  Only propane tanks that do not exceed 20 lbs are are to be used. 
  • All tailgaters are responsible for proper disposal of their trash and other debris. Trash containers will be provided in the tailgating area. Any person damaging university or COS property will be responsible for the cost of repairs.
  • Tailgating is per space.  No more than 1 vehicle per space is permitted.
  • All guests' belongings are subject to search by Public Safety and Event Management.
At away games, the rules of the hosting institution apply. Please check their websites for rules on tailgating.

 Bag Checks and No Pets Policy

  • Bag Checks:For security reasons, all bags are subject to inspection upon entry to the field. Please plan accordingly to avoid delays.
  • -No Pets Allowed: To ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees, pets are not permitted within the stadium or tailgating areas. Service animals are exempt from this policy.

Prohibited Items in the Stadium

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all fans, the following items are strictly prohibited in the stadium:
  • Pets (except for service animals)
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Illegal substances
  • Weapons of any kind (including firearms, knives, and explosives)
  • Outside food and beverages (unless medically necessary)
  • Coolers and large bags
  • Glass containers
  • Large signs, banners, or flags (that obstruct the view of other fans)
  • Laser pointers
  • Drones or any unmanned aerial devices
  • Skateboards, scooters, or bicycles
  • Any items deemed dangerous or inappropriate by stadium security
  • Umbrellas
All bags and personal items are subject to search upon entry. Failure to comply with these rules may result in confiscation of items, ejection from the stadium, and/or involvement of law enforcement.

Sportsmanship and Fan Behavior

We expect all fans to uphold high standards of sportsmanship and behavior during both pre-game and post-game activities. We encourage all tailgaters to demonstrate respect for fellow fans, opposing teams' supporters, and event staff, fostering a welcoming and enjoyable environment for everyone. Individuals who engage in disruptive behavior or violate these principles may be removed from the tailgating area to maintain the integrity of our events and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees.
