ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Eastern Men's Tennis concluded its 2024-2025 season on Sunday with a 7-0 loss to a very strong and experienced York College squad. The Eagles' No. 1 doubles duo of
Jeffrey Day and
Peter Folga earned Eastern's lone win of the afternoon, but the Spartans earned the doubles point and all six wins at singles.
Day and Folga earned their fifth win of the season as a duo, beating York's Parker Sanders and Evan Stehman 6-2, but the Spartans came away with 6-2 and 6-0 wins at No. 2 and 3 doubles.
Day played a competitive match at No. 1 singles, winning four games in the opening set, but fell to York's Jason Lutz 6-4, 6-0.
Peter Folga played a competitive second set against York's Ben Dorsey, but ultimately lost 6-0, 7-5.
Eastern finishes the season with a 5-12 record and a 2-4 mark in league play.
