LANCASTER, Pa.– The Atlantic East Conference Office today released its All-Conference Honors and special awards for the 2025 Flag Football season. In the school's first season of competition, Eastern University Flag Football finished with a 14-4 record and reached the Atlantic East Championship game. After dropping two games on their opening day, the Eagles won 14 of 16 down the stretch and outscored league opponents 313-48 over that stretch. Kira Green and Damiyae Moyet earned All-Atlantic East Recognition and the Coaching staff shared league staff of the year honors with the Marymount University Coaching staff. 

Green came to the game with a background in softball. After much work early in the season, the first year quarterback from Lancaster, Pa. adapted her throwing motion to the different ball, and the Eastern offense flourished. Green threw for neatly 2000 yards and combined for over 25 touchdowns. 

Moyet, a junior from Chester, Pa., has a basketball background. She used her timing and defensive instincts to become a deep threat receiver and an outstanding defender. She caught 10 touchdowns and finished with three interceptions and over 50 tackles. In addition to playing offense and defense, Moyet also punted three times.

Head Coach Amanda Ruller and her staff have been recruiting off campus for much of the year, but Ruller, Ryan Barrick, and Jaleel Taylor used this year to build chemistry, teach new skills, and establish basic concepts with a group of players without a lot of experience in the game. The growth and development of the squad over the season pushed the Egles into the conference final. Top-seeded Marymount scored a pair of second-half touchdowns to claim the league title, but in each of Eastern's final two games against the Saints they had chances to take the lead. Marymount's final touchdowns in both games, 12-0 losses, came very late.
