Men's Track and Field Competes In First Day of MAC Outdoor Championships


CHESTER, Pa. - After a strong outdoor season, Men's Track and Field competed on the first day of MAC Outdoor Championships. While the day consisted of just the 4x800 Relay and the Hammer Throw.

TOP PERFORMANCES 
  • In the 4x800 Meter Relay, a team of Astin Daniel, Ryle Mellinger, Levi Weir, and Robert Walton raced for fifth in the event with a 7:56.64 time. The result notched Eastern four points and the time is now the third-best in the program.
  • As for the Hammer Throw, Foday Koroma marked a new personal record, with a distance of 34.82 meters. He holds the furthest distance in program history.
Eastern Men's Track and Field will be back in action tomorrow for the second day of MAC Outdoor Championships at Widener. Events begin at 9:30 am.
