SELINSGROVE, Pa. - In its first meet of 2022, Eastern Men's Track and Field came away with four top-10 finishes, including three finishes in the top-five in three different events.

In the 60 meter hurdles, senior Michael Shea finished with a time of 8.72, while fellow senior Milan Sharma also placed third in the 800 with a time of 2:02.64.

In the high jump, a pair of Eagles finished in the top-10. Junior Jonathan Nixon came in fourth with a distance of 1.79 meters, while sophomore Nolan Case placed eighth at 1.69 meters.

"Today went as I expected coming off a long holiday break," Eastern Head Coach Will Mills said. "We saw some growth happen and we saw some improvements that need to be made. The key for us this season is to continue to improve upon the little things. Success is happening all around and today was just the beginning."

Eastern Men's Track and Field will be back at Alvernia next Saturday, January 22, for the Alvernia Winter Invitational.
