ST. DAVIDS, Pa.— Eastern University Field Hockey Head Coach
Abbey Kemble announced the 2025 schedule for her team. After opening with a pair o scrimmages, the Eagles will play nine games on their home turf and nine on the road.
On Aug. 30, Eastern will travel down the Main Line to take on Haverford College for the 28th game in a rivalry that dates back to 1980. The Eagles will then host a pair of historic rivals in Immaculata and Arcadia on Tuesday Sept. 2 and Friday Sept. 5. Eastern and Immaculata first clashed in 1965. Eastern and Arcadia started their rivalry in 1966.
The Eagles will then play three of their next four on the road with away-tilts at Delaware Valley and Gwynedd-Mercy coming before a home game against Drew University. That run of non-league tests will wrap up with an away match at Stevens Institute of Technology on Sept. 20.
On the 24th, the Eagles will host the Wilkes University Colonels. The two sides have not met since both were in the MAC Freedom in 2019. In their final non-league road match of the year, the Eastern will play former PAC rival and future MAC Commonwealth foe Neumann University on Sat. Sept. 27.
October starts with three-straight home games. The Eagles host Stockton on the first, Ramapo on the 8th and will begin MAC Commonwealth play with a homecoming-test against Hood.
Eastern's final six games are all in the MAC Commonwealth. The Eagles host Albright on OCt. 22 and York on Nov. 1 and will play away at Alvernia, Stevenson, Messiah, and Widener.
