NEWTOWN, Pa— The Middle Atlantic Conference Office today announced Academic All-MAC Honors for the the 2025 Indoor Track and Field Season. Eastern student-athletes
Hailey Shreffler and
Savana Dodd earned spots on the prestigious list. The duo received that recognition based on performance in the classroom and in athletic competition.
Shreffler recently graduated with high honors in Biochemistry and Math. In the indoor season, she set program records in two individual events and posted the second-best mark in program history in two others while earning All-Region honors at 800 Meters, the Mile, 5,000 Meters and as the anchoring mile on the Distance Medley Relay.
At the 2025 MAC Indoor Track and Field Championships, Shreffler won the 800 Meters, and finished second in the Mile and Distance Medley relay. The 2025 Indoor honor is her third-straight Academic All-MAC recognition. She earned her first honor for the 2024 Outdoor Track and Field season and doubled that with a strong finish in her 2024 Cross Country season.
Dodd, a thrower and nursing major, picks up her first Academic All-MAC recognition. She claimed the MAC Title and All-Region Honors in the Weight Throw and also finished on the podium with a fourth-place finish in the Shot Put. Dodd holds the Eastern program record in both indoor throws.
Academic All-MAC teams are selected by vote from nominations from the 16 member institutions. Student Athletes need at least a 3.2 GPA in their semester of competition to be considered for the award. The eleven women honored had a combined 3.88 GPA and no honoree had a semester GPA below 3.65. All 11 honorees earned both All-Conference and All-Region recognition in their various events.
The MAC will announce 2025 Outdoor Track and Field Academic All-MAC teams on July 14.
