ANNVILLE, Pa.– Eastern University Track and Field turned in several solid performances at the first Lebanon Valley College Invitational of the year.
Mary Bernotas won the 800 Meters and older sister
Katelyn Bernotas pulled a way from the field to win by over 30 seconds in the 1500 Meter Run. She ran a 5:04.9 in her first competitive 1500 Meters. Katelyn earned 2020 USTFCCCA All-America Honors in the Mil, but with no outdoor season in 2020, she di not stretch into the 1500 Meters.
Taylor Bynum-Bain won her second consecutive meet with a 5.20 meter jump in the Long Jump.
Ethan Dionne highlighted the performances on the men's side. In his first meet back, Dionne cleared 14 feet in the Pole Vault to win that event.
Milan Sharma pulled away from a tight field to win the 800 Meter Run in 1:59.43.
Chase Harris placed third in the 100 Meters.
Both teams will have time to train before returning to competition back at Lebanon Valley on April 17.
