BRANDYWINE, Pa.--Eastern Baseball improved to 9-11 this season with a non-conference win over PSU-Brandywine on Wednesday.
Six different Eagles' pitchers combined for the shutout in the 9-0 victory. Austin Little tossed the first two innings and earned the win.
Eastern's Tyler Orr and Greg DeSarro each batted 3-for-5. Orr, at the No. 2 spot, clubbed in four RBIs and DeSarro knocked in two RBIs at the cleanup spot.
Eastern's 1-4 starting batters went 10-for-20.
Orr and DeSarro hit RBI-singles in the first and third innings, respectively. Neither team scored through the next six innings, but Eastern scored on a wild pitch to make it 3-0 in the top of the seventh.
The Eagles batted around in the eighth inning and scored six runs in the inning, all with two outs. Orr unloaded the bases for a three-RBI double. Eric Rossi and DeSarro followed with extra-base RBI hits and DeSarro scored the final run on an error.
The Eagles play Valley Forge Christian at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow.
