GREENSBORO, N.C. - The American Baseball Coaches Association announced the 2026 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region Teams and Regional Players the Year honors on Tuesday. Following tremendous seasons at the plate and on the pitchers' mound, center fielder Trent MacDougall and pitcher Brennan Moloughney were named to the All-Region V squad.

MacDougall was outstanding at both the dish and in the outfield in his junior season, earning a spot on the All-Region 5 Second Team.The Boynton Beach, Fla. native finished with a program record 48 runs and reached base on nearly 54 percent of his plate appearances. He, together with teammate Thomas Kozlusky, also broke the program record in stolen bases, swiping 30 bases on 32 attempts. After not recording a home run in his first two season, he hit six in 2026, and recorded a remarkable 1.174 OPS, the fourth-highest in a single season in program history. MacDougall led the Eagles with 53 hits and 12 doubles, and was tied for the team lead with 29 walks.

In the field, MacDougall was perfect, converting all 95 of his chances with 93 putouts and a pair of outfield assists without committing an error. MacDougall was named the Co-Defensive Player of the Year and a First-Team All-MAC Commonewealth selection earlier this month.

Moloughney, fresh off becoming the first Eastern pitcher since the Eagles joined the MAC in 2009 to earn All-MAC Commonwealth First-Team Honors, was named to the All-Region V Third Team. The Neptune, N.J. native finished 5-4 in 10 starts, which included three wins in MAC Commonwealth play. In 55.2 innings pitched, he struck out 46 batters while walking only 17, and gave up one or fewer earned runs in eight of his 10 appearances. He threw a complete game shutout at Hood, went seven innings without allowing a run in a win at Widener, and threw five scoreless innings at Stevenson. He led the Eagles in innings pitched, complete games, and strikeouts while boasting a 2.75 ERA.

MacDougall and Moloughney are the fifth and sixth Eagles to earn All-Region Honors from the ABCA, joining Luke Meehan, Eric Rossi, Angelo Kelly, and Timmy Gorton.
