Box Score with the Blue Jays of Elizabethtown on Wednesday night in Florida. The Blue Jays held on to win 12-9.

The Blue Jays did their damage early, scoring eight runs in the first 4 innings against Eastern. Eastern chipped away at the Elizabethtown lead all game, scoring runs in the 2nd, 3rd and fifth innings, before scoring five runs in the 6th. The Eagles opened the inning with four straight hits, with Eastern scoring a pair of runs on a Davis Murray single. Murray and Kenny Long then executed a double steal, scoring Long. After two straight outs, John Montague doubled home another run. Kurt Kebaugh would cap the scoring with a run scoring single. The rally pulled the Eagles within one run, but the Bluejays would tack on 2 more insurance runs in the bottom of the inning and hold on for the win.

Eastern closes out its spring break schedule with a rematch against La Roche College on Thursday afternoon. The Eagles will return home for a non-conference game against Ursinus College on Wednesday, before opening PAC play with a 3-game series against Neumann College next weekend.
