Zach Sievert earned his first MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week honor.
The Jacksonville, Fla. native notched his first collegiate hat trick in Eastern Men's Soccer 3-0 win over Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday, all of which came in the second half. He scored a pair of goals in the first 15 minutes after halftime, and completed the hat trick in the 88th minute to keep the Eagles unbeaten through their first four matches of the season.
Sievert is the fourth Eagle since 2024 to earn a MAC weekly honor, joining current teammate
Ethan Pfau and former teammates
Evan Cope and
Ty Bleiler. Sievert currently leads the Eagles with four goals and eight points.
Eastern (2-0-2) returns to action tonight in Collegeville for a 7:30 start against Ursinus College.
