Stephen Dottoli earned a spot on the All-MAC Commonwealth First Team, while
Jeffrey Day earned his second All-MAC Commonwealth Second Team selection. It is the first time since 2013 that the Eagles had multiple All-Conference honorees.
Dottoli, after a strong rookie season at both No.1 singles and No. 1 doubles, became the first First-Team All-MAC Commonwealth honoree for Eastern in program history. He formed an effective tandem with
Peter Folga, winning six matches, including a win over York in conference play. He also won six matches at singles play, the second-most singles wins. for Eastern this year. He finished a perfect 3-0 in the only three No. 2 singles matches he played this year, and recorded wins at No. 1 singles over York, Neumann, and Alvernia.
Day was named to the Second-Team for the second time in three years. The senior played at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles all season long and was effective at both. He, together with
Jared Groff, went 7-9 at No. 2 doubles, boasting wins over Rutgers-Camden, Penn State Abington, Cairn, Neumann, Rowan College of Gloucester County, Alvernia, and Stevenson. Day also earned six wins at No. 2 singles, including a 3-1 mark in conference play with victories over York, Stevenson, and Alvernia.
The Eagles finished with a 7-9 overall record and a 3-2 mark in the MAC Commonwealth, their best finish in conference play since 2016.
