NEWTOWN, Pa.— The Middle Atlantic Conferecne Office today announced Weekly Honors for the Week Ending April 4. Eastern University first-year Emily Trzonkowski picked up a third straight MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week Honor with another two wins in the circle.

In a 4-0 win at Immaculata early in the week, Trzonkowski put together one of the most dominant performances in program history. She allowed only one hit and struck out 16 Mighty Macs for her third shutout of the season. She struck out the first ten hitters she faced and with a foul pop fly and another strikeout in the fourth, no Immaculata hitter put the ball in play until the fifth inning.

She also struck out five in four innings of work in Eastern's 11-3 MAC Commonwealth win over Stevesnon on Saturday. The Mustangs scored all three runs on a double in the fourth after the Eagles had built an 8-0 lead. 

Eastern will play at Alvernia this Saturday.
