LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 2026 NFCA Division III All-Region teams. Eastern University standouts
Emily Trzonkowski and
Maura Yoos earned recognition as All-Region V performers.
Trzonkowski, a first-year pitcher, earned First-Team honors following a 16-1 performance in the circle for the Eagles. The MAC Commonwealth Pitcher and Rookie of the Year her first 15 decisions including wins over ranked teams from Rowan and Swarthmore. She struck out a single-game program record 16 hitters at Immaculata and threw a five-inning no-hitter at York. In 112.1 innings pitched, she held opponents to only 32 earned runs and 86 hits. Only 21 of those 86 hits went for extra bases.
Yoos played outstanding defense at shortstop and was the catalyst at the top of the line-up to earn Second-Team All-Region recognition. Yoos finished with a .436 average, 51 hits, and 36 runs scored. Her 51 hits were one less than the program standard set by Janelle Fair in 2012, her average is behind only Erica Pyla-Gibson's .447 season in 2015, and her runs scored were second only to the 37 scored by Maggie McGowan in 2012. Yoos was a First-Team All-MAC Commonwealth honoree. She hit a two-run triple in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament for her 100th career hit. She is the only Eastern player to record 100 hits in a two-year stretch.
The NFCA will announce National Awards later this month.
