Ainsley O'Donnell earned her second MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week accolade.
O'Donnell hit .500 during a 7-1 week for the Eagles to begin their 2026 season. The center fielder finished 12-for-24 from the dish with 12 hits, including three doubles and three triples, 10 runs scored, and 10 RBIs.
In just the first eight games of the season, O'Donnell has the most triples for an Eagle in a single season since Ashton Tomlinson hit four back in the 2014 season.
Eastern will be back in action on the road Thursday for a doubleheader against Neumann. Start time is still to be determined.
