NEWTOWN, Pa. - The Middle Atlantic Conference today released weekly awards for the week ending Sept. 28, 2025. Graduate quarterback
Brett Nabb led the Eagles to a thrilling 39-37 road win on Saturday over the reigning MAC Champion King's College Monarchs on their Homecoming.
Nabb recorded 421 yards of offense and led Eastern to a program-record 600 yards. He threw for 257 yards and two scores and ran for 164 and two more scores.Â
Nabb made huge plays throughout the afternoon. He threw a 75-yard touchdown pass to Justin Nikolopolous on the first play from scrimmage. Later, he threw a 38-yard touchdown toÂ
Eddie Swinton midway through the second quarter. He ran for touchdowns of five and 11 yards, and had a season-long 41-yard scamper to set up what turned out to be Eastern's game-winning touchdown.Â
For Nabb, it is his first MAC Football Offensive Player of the Week accolade and the third for Eastern Football in the first four weeks of the season. Nabb is second in the conference in rushing behind teammate
Jeremiah Avrilien.Â
After the bye week, Eastern (3-1, 2-1) will return to Radnor Street Road to take on the Delaware Valley Aggies in another crucial MAC showdown. The contest is set to begin at 12 noon.
