NEWTOWN, Pa. - The Middle Atlantic Conference today released weekly awards for the week ending Sept. 14, 2025. Following a historic performance on Saturday, junior running back Jeremiah Avrilien was named the MAC Football Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Avrilien, who hails from Miami Gardens, Fla., set an Eastern Football rushing record on Saturday with 184 rushing yards in the Eagles' 24-14 win over Alvernia in their MAC opener. Avrilien averaged 7.1 yards per carry on 26 touches, and scored touchdowns from 22 and four yards out to lead the Eagles' offense. Behind Avrilien, the Eagles rushed for over 300 yards for the second consecutive week.

Eastern Football hits the road for the first time this season on Saturday, traveling to LVC to take on the Dutchmen. Kickoff is set for 1:00 pm.
