Hannah Pringle was named the MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season and the fourth time in her collegiate career.
Pringle powered Eastern Women's Volleyball to a pair of wins in the Eagles' four matches. She posted 71 kills, 50 digs, five blocks, and a remarkable .396 hitting percentage. She tied her career-high in kills on Saturday with 27 in Eastern's five-set win over Rowan on Saturday. A front row player for her first three-plus years, the senior outside hitter from East Greenville, Pa. had never recorded a double-double and had only served in a match three total times before this weekend. She posted three double-doubles, including a 20-dig effort against Scranton, and had two aces in 47 serves.
Pringle is currently ninth in Division III with 4.46 kills per set, and she is currently seventh among active players with 1245 kills. She is hitting .298 for the year and has recorded double-digit kills in every match.Â
Eastern opens MAC Commonwealth play at Widener on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.Â
