Alexis Standford earned her first Offensive Player of the Week honor as an Eagle, while senior defensive specialist
Viviana Fragoso claimed her second Defensive Player of the Week accolade.
In wins over Rutgers-Camden, Muhlenberg, and DeSales, Standford, who hails from Walkersville, Md., totaled 32 kills, 31 digs, seven service aces, and a pair of blocks. She recorded a double-double with 12 kills and 13 digs in the three-set win over Rutgers-Camden, and added 11 kills in the Eagles three-set triumph over Muhlenberg.
Fragoso, a senior from La Mirada, Calif., anchored Eastern's back row with 40 digs, averaging 4.4 digs per set, in the Eagles' three wins. Additionally, Fragoso added seven service aces, including four in the Eagles' straight-set win over DeSales in their final match of the weekend.
The Eagles (3-0) will head to Lancaster Bible on Thursday before making the trek to Washington D.C. for a tri-match with Catholic and FDU-Florham.
