NEWTOWN, Pa.— The Middle Atlantic Conference office today announced All-Conference lists and special awards for the 2025 Women's Volleyball Season. MAC Commonwealth Coaches honored four Eastern University student-athletes and Head Coach
Mark Birtwistle for Eastern's success in 2025.
Hannah Pringle earned her fourth all-league honor and was named MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year.
Viviana Fragoso, also a senior, was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year.
Pringle caps her career with her second-straight First-Team honor. She led the league with 474 kills while hitting at a career-best .284 clip. The senior from East Greenville, Pa. finished with 126 more kills than any other player in the league. She sits fourth on Eastern's career kill list with 1545 kills.
League coaches picked Fragoso as the First-Team Libero. The senior from La Mirada, Calif. moved into the Libero role after serving as a defensive specialist for her first three seasons. She posted career high 507 digs and delivered 63 aces against only 19 service errors. She provided a constant in Eastern's serve-receive and a consistent defensive presence for Eastern's young squad.
Alexis Standford also earned a spot on the First team. The junior outside hitter from Walkersville, Md. posted 348 kills in her first season as an Eagle. She finished second only to Pringle in total kills and kills per set.
Jessie Schreiber earned Honorable Mention from the League. In her first season as a starter, Schreiber delivered several big moments on attack and in the block. The junior from Lanesboro, Minn. finished third on the squad with 189 kills and added 76 blocks.
Birtwistle collected his 11th conference coach of the year honor. This year, he guided a very young group to a 23-8 mark and the top seed in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament. His 2025 team featured nine new players and had several returners stepping into new roles after a huge group of four-year starters finished last year. He has won 871 matches in his 35 seasons leading the Eagles.
This is the second time he has earned MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year Honors.
