NEWTOWN, Pa. — The Middle Atlantic Conference Office today announced All-Conference lists and special awards for Field Hockey. MAC Commonwealth Coaches honored
CJ Summa and
Karlee Howard with spots on the Second Team.
For Summa, a sophomore forward from Ellicott City, Md., this is a repeat honor. She finished the 2025 season with a team-high 10 goals and two assists. Four of her goals, including a pair of overtime strikes turned into game-winners. Summa was a second-team honoree and MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year in 2024. She has 22 goals and five assists in her first two seasons as an Eagle.
Howard, a forward from Oley, Pa., scored nine times and added three assists in her junior campaign. Here ability to beat defenders with clever moves and deliver powerful strikes with the reverse-stick efforts made her a threat to score in open play. The recognition is the first all-league honor for Howard, who scored six goals and added six assists in 2024.
Eastern Field Hockey finished 2024 with eight wins and scored at least one goal in 14-of-18 games. This is the first time the Eagles have had two players named to an All-Conference team since Eastern joined the MAC Commonwealth. In 2024,
Kara Frantz earned Honorable Mention as a midifelder.
