LANCASTER, Pa. - On Saturday, Eastern Women's Track and Field competed in the Coach I Open hosted by Franklin & Marshall. Sophomore Savana collected a pair of top-five finishes, and three other Eagles recorded personal-best finishes.
Dodd continued her strong season in the field, placing third in the Shot Put and fifth in the Weight Throw. In the Shot Put, Dodd recorded a throw of 11.73m, and in the weight throw, she finished with a throw of 14.13m.
In the Triple Jump, fellow sophomore
Janitza Hernandez-Albino set a new personal best, recording a jump of 10.28m, while in the Long Jump, first-year
Tyla Cooper set a new personal record with a distance of 4.64m.
On the track, first-year
Mya Cadena rounded out the Eagles' PR finishers with a career-best time of 2:45.72 in the 800m.
Eastern Track and Field will be back in action next weekend at the two-day Seamus McElligott Invitational hosted by Haverford College. '
