Sami Britton struck out six Cobber hitters and drove ina  pair of runners with a two-hit day.

After loading the bases on three singles, Lexi Evelyn drove in the tying run with a walk. Sabrina Thomas then knocked in another run with a single. Britton doubled to center for a 4-1 lead.

After Britton faced the minimum in the second, Emily Loomis drove in a run with a double in the bottom of the inning. Becky Howard doubled with one out to start the rally.

The Cobbers scored three runs in the top of the third to close the gap to 5-4, but the Eagles struck back with three in the bottom of the inning. Leah Lozzi, Madeline Iswalt, and Jess Snader all knocked in runs in the frame. Lozzi knocked in two more in the fourth inning for a 10-4 lead.

Howard doubled to open the fifth, and Snader knocked her second run of the day with another single. She advanced to third on a throwing error to the plate. Loomis bunted to drive in Snader.
