Box Score RADNOR, Pa. - Eastern Men's Tennis defeated Cabrini College 9-0 on Tuesday afternoon. The Eagles cruised to victories in both singles and doubles to secure the victory.

Grant William and 
Kyle Berner started off the afternoon with an 8-3 victory in the first doubles match. "Both Kyle and Grant served well to beat a strong doubles team from Cabrini," continued Spangler. 
In the second doubles match, 
Mitchell Weaver and 
Jackson Wetherbee battled to an exciting 9-7 win over Mike Halbherr and Tyler Bond. 
Vusisizwe Ntonga and 
Ryan Ellison extended the Eagles lead to 3-0 when they cruised to an 8-0 win in the third doubles match. 
Five Eastern players claimed their singles match in straight sets. Williams claimed the first singles match with a 6-2, 6-0 win. Berner fought in the second singles match finally claiming it in three sets 6-4, 3-6, and 10-4 in the decisive third set. 
After Ntonga had won the first set of the fifth singles match 6-0, he ground out a tough 7-6 victory in the second set to secure the win. 
"We are expecting a tough Hood team to come in on Thursday and a tough conference match on Saturday," concluded Spangler. "This win should give us some confidence in these upcoming matches." 
Eastern hosts Hood on Thursday at 3 pm.
