Box Score DOYLESTOWN, Pa. - Eastern Men's Tennis rolled to a 9-0 win over host Delaware Valley Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Eagles move into a tie for third place in the MAC Freedom standings.
Grant Williams and
Kyle Berner cruised to an 8-1 victory in first doubles while
Ryan Ellison and
Mitchell Weaver claimed an 8-3 victory in second doubles. With the victories, Berner and Williams move to 6-2 on the season as a doubles pairing while Ellison and Weaver move to 1-1.
Eastern would win all the singles matches in straight sets claiming three by shutout.
Jackson Wetherbee moved to 7-4 on the season in singles matches winning by scores of 6-0, 6-0 and
Vusisizwe Ntonga advanced to 7-5 on the season winning by the same scoreline as Wetherbee 6-0, 6-0.
"We are preparing for a big match on Saturday with Misericordia," said Head Coach
Mark Spangler. "The match will have both playoffs and seeding at stake."
Eastern hosts Bryn Athyn on April 25th at 3:30 pm.
