MADISON, N.J.—Christian Torres battled to a two-set win in Eastern Men's Tennis' match at FDU-Florham on Saturday afternoon.
Torres' 6-4, 7-5 win in No. 3 singles was the only bright spot for the Eagles who dropped the conference match 8-1. Torres, who joined the squad in the spring semester has a 4-1 record in the No. 5 flight and a 1-1 record in No. 3 matches.
Eastern dropped the remaining singles matches in straight sets. In doubles Eastern fell 8-1, 8-2, 8-4.
The Eagles play a non-conference match at Neumann on Tuesday.
