RADNOR, Pa.- Eastern University Men's Tennis topped Eagles Road rival Cabrini College 8-1 in a non-conference men's tennis match. Eastern jumped to a 3-0 lead with wins in doubles and finished the match by taking the top five singles flights.

Michael Roth and Bryan Arnett lost a single game at doubles, and when Arnett dropped a game in the second set, that would be the only game either would lose in commanding performances at the top of the singles rotation.

Dan Wilson and Tyler Hoagland had to battle to an 8-6 win at the second doubles spot. Wilson took his singles match 6-1,6-2 and Hoagland held on to win 6-3, 6-4 in straight sets at the fourth spot. Jonny Shenk and Ryan Dykstra won 8-1 in their doubles match and Shenk rolled through his doubles match. Dykstra dropped the only point of the match in an 11-9 super-breaker. He had rallied to win the second set 6-0 after dropping the opener in a tiebreaker.

The Eagles (6-4, 1-1 Freedom) return to Conference action with an important home match against Misericordia this Saturday.
