Unfortunately, they hit a road block in reigning Commonwealth Conference Champions, Lebanon Valley College. The Eagles picked up a key victory at second singles but ultimately fell 8-1.

Sophomore Bryan Arnett picked up the lone victory at second singles in a very difficult match against Tom Neckelmann. Neckelmann pushed Arnett to the limit in the first set but was able to pick up the set 7-5. Arnett then put the match out of reach in the second set, winning by a score of 6-4.

The Eagles only play one match in Hilton Head, but will pick up some quality court time in practice in order to prepare for the rest of their season. The squad returns to action at home on Monday, March 15 against Rosemont College.
