Box Score each of the Eagles had to step up a spot in the order, and the powerful Colonel line-up proved to be too strong as the visitors took the match 8-1.

Dan Wilson and Josh Hall played together at third doubles and earned the only point of the day for the Eagles as they won their match 8-2. Jordan Gates extended his match at the top singles spot to a thrid set tie-breaker before falling 10-4.

Eastern Coach Mark Spangler was pleased with Gates' effort at the top spot, and commented on his third doubles team saying, "Josh and Dan put together their best performance of the year at doubles."

The Eagles return to action on Wednesday at Misericordia University.
