LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference today released its All-Conference Honors and special awards for the 2026 Flag Football Season. In just its second year, Eastern Flag Football finished with a 20-3 record and advanced to the Atlantic East Championship game for the second consecutive season. In all, five Eagles earned All-Conference recognition, and sophomore
Kyla Massenburg earned Defensive Player of the Year Honors.
Massenburg, a sophomore from Flemington, N.J., was named to the First Team. She emerged as one of the top defensive linemen in the Atlantic East this spring. With her speed and elusiveness, Massenburg led the Eagles with 118 total tackles, 45 tackles for loss, and 24 sacks. She also recorded a pair of pass breakups. Massenburg was also the Eagles' top weapon on the ground, rushing for a team-high 861 yards and 25 touchdowns on 112 carries.
Jeriyah Johnson became the first Eagle in Flag Football's short history to earn All-Conference honors on both sides of the football. Johnson was named to the First Team as a wide receiver and the Second Team as a defensive back. As the season progressed, Johnson became the team's No. 1 option, particularly in the screen game, catching a team-high 103 passes for 931 yards and 20 touchdowns. She was equally as effective as a defensive back, finishing with 68 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 13 interceptions, and 11 pass breakups. Her 68 tackles and 13 picks ranked second on the team.
Fellow senior
Damiyae Moyet earned her second straight Atlantic-East All-Conference selection at wide receiver. The Chester native was the Eagles' primary deep threat, catching 69 passes for 799 yards and 17 touchdowns. She averaged 11.58 yards per reception. Moyet was also a factor in the defensive backfield, collecting 35 tackles, six interceptions, and four pass breakups.
Leading the Eastern offense for the second consecutive year, sophomore quarterback
Kira Green earned her second straight All-Conference selection. Green completed 65 percent of her passes for 3,453 yards and an incredible 60 touchdown passes, averaging 172.65 per game. She also ran the ball 94 times for 312 yards and another seven scores. With Green commanding the huddle, the Eagles averaged 35.1 points and 240.5 yards per game.
Rounding out the group, first-year
Molly Schellpeper earned an At-Large First-Team selection after a tremendous season on both side of the ball. The Colorado native led the Atlantic East with 16 interceptions and was second on the Eagles with 15 pass breakups. She also settled in nicely as Eastern's No. 3 receiving option, catching 53 passes for 600 yards and eight touchdowns. She caught a pair of touchdowns in this past weekend's Atlantic East Championship tournament.
Eastern Flag Football will continue its season this coming weekend in the ECAC Championships. The Eagles begin play on Saturday, May 2, with opponents still to be determined.
