BASKING RIDGE, N.J. - Eastern Men's Golf shot its second best round of the season at the Battle of Basking Ridge hosted by Stevens on Monday afternoon. The Eagles placed eighth and finished with a team score of 340.

All four of Eastern's top finishers shot in the 80's. Jacob Wagner led the Eagles with an 82, carding an eagle on hole two to go along with six pars. Dominic Villamor was second on the Eagles with an 84, collecting birdies on holes four and six to go along with four birdies. 

Michael Hotalen carded an 86 with five birdies, and Zach Sievert shot his best round since joining the golf team in the spring, finishing with an 88. Sievert birdied on hole two and also recorded four birdies. 

Eastern is back in action on Thursday for the Stevenson Invitational.
