KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Eastern Men's Golf began its 2026 season over the weekend with the two day Berkleigh Challenge at Berkleigh Golf Club. The Eagles finished with a team score of 671 at the conclusion of the two-day event.

Since taking over the Men's Golf program a year and half ago, Head Coach Kyle Friebolin has been hot on the recruiting trail, nearly doubling his roster from seven a year ago to 13 heading into the fall season. Over the weekend, of the five competing golfers, four of them were playing in their first ever collegiate event.

Dominic Villamor, the lone upperclassman, led the Eagles with a total score of 164, carding an 82 on both days. The Manila, Philippines product finished with three birdies on day one and also recorded 13 pars over the course of 36 holes.

First-year Blake Catalano carded an 83 on both days, finishing with a total score of 166. The Summit, N.J. native finished with a birdie on hole eight on Friday and hole seven on Saturday, to go along with 15 pars over the weekend.

Local product Samuel Stolzer was third on the Eagles with a 172, firing a 87 on Friday and an 85 on Saturday. He finished with 12 pars and a birdie on hole 16 on Friday.

Rounding out the Eastern scoring with Jonathan Dilliplane, who finished with a 174, carding an 89 and a 85. The Bensalem native finished with a birdie on hole 2 on Friday and 14 pars over the course of the two day event.

Eastern will be back in action in early October for the Bulle Rock Invitational in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
