LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association today released its NCAA Division III All-America lists for the 2025 season. Following an outstanding year, Eastern Unviersity midfielder
Nick Litzenberger was recognized as an Honorable Mention All-American.
Litzenberger, a graduate student from Freeville, N.Y., put together the most prolific scoring season by an Eastern midfielder in program history. He posted 43 goals and 31 assists and recorded multiple points in all 18 games this year. In 16 of those games he made his mark on the score sheet with both a goal and an assist.
After playing in three games as a first year at Utica, Litzenberger saw his goal and assist numbers increase in each of his four seasons at Eastern. He finishes his career with 212 total points. With 206 points in 73 games as an Eagle, he is fifth overall and the only midfielder in Eastern history to reach the 200 point total. He is fifth on Eastern's career goal list with 128 and also tied for fifth with 77 career assists. Every player in front of him on each of the three lists spent either most or all of his career on attack.
Litzenberger's honor is the tenth for Eastern University Men's Lacrosse. Aaron Benz and Ron Johnson earned recognition as a goalie and defensive midfielder in 2013. Grant Ferguson was recognized in 2014 and 2015. He was joined his teammate on attack David Darling in 2015. Jameal Hadeed collected recognition in both 2017 and 2018 as a goalie, and Chris Durning collected honors as an LSM in 2021, and
Nicholas Fanelli earned the honor in 2023.
