NEWTOWN, Pa.– The Middle Atlantic Conference office today released All-Conference lists and special awards for the 2024-25 Women's Basketball season. League coaches honored Eastern junior
Jeriyah Johnson with a spot on the MAC Commonwealth First Team.
Johnson averaged 16.8 points overall, but in league play, the guard from Lancaster, Pa. finished with a conference-best 19.6 points per game. In 14 MAC Commonwealth contests, Johnson made 40 3-pointers while shooting 36.4 percent from deep. No other player in the MAC Commonwealth made more than 26 shots from distance.
With the Eagles lacking a dominant post presence, Johnson was always a focal point for opposing defenses and often was called on to create scoring chances late in shot clocks. She made 75.4 percent of free throws in the league.
With a 24-point effort at Albright, Johnson eclipsed the 1000 point mark for her career. She recorded 66 assists and now has 190 for her career and earned 47 steals to bring her career total 141.
Johnson is the first Eastern woman to earn first-team Honor since Regie Robinson earned the honor in the MAC Freedom after the 2018-19 season.
Messiah guards Reese Harden and Chloe Milanese earned Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year Honors, and Alvernia guard Olivia Burke was the Rookie of the Year.
