ST. DAVIDS, Pa.— Eastern University Women's Volleyball (14-5, 3-1) hit an impressive .295 as a team on the way to a three-set win over the visiting Hood College Blazers.
Alexis Standford had 12 kills and
Maddie Golia hit .667 with five blocks.
Both teams warmed up in pink and the Eastern women used the evening to support Breast Cancer Awareness and the team's
Hope Venture fundraiser. Hope Venture is a program that provides emotional and financial support for women in their personal battle against breat cancer. Former Eastern assistant coach and current Rowan University Head Coach Deana Jesperson found great value in the program as she was battling with breast cancer.
