ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - In its third match of the fall season on Tuesday, Eastern's League of Legends squad dropped a 2-0 decision to Midway University.
The series was characterized by back-and-forth action and another strong performance from
Isaiah Elvin as Poppy. Elvin's impactful ultimate usage and well-timed roams disrupted Midway's plans and created several opportunities for his teammates.
"While the final result did not go in our favor, the close nature of the match highlighted the team's competitiveness and ability to compete against top-tier opponents," Eastern Head Coach Joshua Franklin said. "The Eagles will undoubtedly learn from this experience and use it as motivation to improve for future challenges."
The Eagles will be back in action next Tuesday against Johnson & Wales University.
