ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Eastern University faced a tough challenge against Quinnipiac University, ultimately falling 0-2 in their League of Legends matchup. It is just the second loss for the team this season. Despite the series ending in a sweep, game one proved to be a tightly contested battle, with both teams trading blows and showcasing their strategic approaches.
Unfortunately, Eastern was unable to capitalize on their early game efforts and Quinnipiac secured victories in both games.
"While this was an off night for the Eagles' League of Legends squad, they remain focused on their goal of reaching the playoffs," Eastern Head Coach Joshua Franklin said. "The team is determined to bounce back stronger next week when they face Trent University, aiming to regain momentum and solidify their playoff aspirations."
Eastern is back in action tomorrow evening against Trent University.
