Eastern Rocket League Drops Opener to Delaware

ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - In its opening match of the season, Eastern Rocket League dropped a best-of-five series to The University of Delaware Blue Hens 3-1.

While the Eagles were ultimately defeated despite a valiant comeback effort, junior Nicholas Ciampaglio shined for Eastern. He showcased his skill and understanding of the game, consistency finding himself in the right positions to capitalize on goal opportunities. Furthermore,

"The series featured several close and competitive matches, with the outcome often hanging in the balance," Eastern Head Coach Joshua Franklin said. "Despite Ciampaglio's efforts, the Eagles were unable to overcome Delaware's strong play and secure the necessary victories. The team's ability to compete at such a high level in their season opener bodes well for the future, as they look to learn from their experiences and improve their performance."

Eastern Rocket League will be back in action against The University of Maryland and Western University on Oct. 10.
