Rocket League Falls to Montclair State

ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - Eastern University faced Montclair State University in a Rocket League best-of-five series on Thursday, ultimately falling 1-3.

Despite the loss, the Eagles put up a strong fight, with several close games highlighting the intensity of the matchup. Matthew Davie was a standout performer for Eastern, consistently playing at a high level and serving as a rallying force for his team throughout the series.

"His consistent play and leadership were crucial in keeping the Eagles competitive, even in the face of defeat," Eastern Head Coach Joshua Franklin said.

Eastern Rocket League will be back in action next Thursday against Manhattan University.
