ST. DAVIDS, Pa. - In their final match of the fall season, Eastern Women's Tennis notched a 7-2 win against Penn State Brandywine at the Eastern Tennis Courts. The Eagles won five out of six singles matches and one doubles match.
Sophomore
Rhyan Metzger conquered her second singles win in No. 2 singles as she emerged victorious in a tight match against Jackie Capers. Metzger won the first set easily with a score of 6-1. After a back-and-forth battle led to a tiebreaker in the second match, Metzger pulled through to take No. 2 singles 7-6 (7-3).
First-year
Grace Schriever collected her first collegiate singles win No. 3 singles against Jessica Gore. Schriever didn't give up a single set as she won both 6-0, and 6-0.
In her last match, graduate student
Brittany Pancoast won in No. 2 doubles 8-1 with
Kiley McHugh and gained a tough No. 4 singles match win against Madison Ferguson. Pancoast won the first set 6-2 before Madison won the next set. The two battled until Pancoast was able to collect the last two sets to win the match 13-11.

Eastern (2-2) concludes their fall season and will await for their next opponent in the spring.
