LEBANON, Pa. - In its final fall tournament, Eastern Men's Golf competed at the Lebanon Valley Invitational on Monday. The Eagles compiled a team score of 332, good for a tie for sixth place in a 17-team field.

Nick DiPietro capped off a strong fall with another solid round of golf at Lebanon Country Club, carding a 79 to lead the Eagles and finishing tied for 11th as an individual. DiPietro ended the day with three birdies and six pars. Jack Mangene also scored in the top-20, firing an 81 with two birdies and seven pars.

Devin Cooper finished third on the Eagles with an 85, while Ian McDonald rounded the scoring with an 87.

While hoping for a better result heading into the offseason, Eastern Assistant Coach Nicky Marrollo is confident that the team will be ready and prepared for the spring campaign.

"Obviously not the result we were looking for as the nightcap of our fall season," Marrollo said. "Little mistakes here and there are costly, and it shows. They are working their tails off practicing. I know they are going to be working extremely hard. We are hungry for that MAC Commonwealth title."
