DOYLESTOWN, Pa.– Eastern University Baseball pounded out 18 more hits on the way to a 13-7 MAC Freedom win at Delaware Valley University this afternoon.
Kyle Daddario led the Eastern offense with three hits and four RBI's.
Eastern (9-14, 3-8 MAC Freedom) scored single runs in each of the first three innings. but the host Aggies angered with a run in the second and another run in the fourth. Delaware Valley seemed poised to grab more runs in the fourth with the bases loaded against Eastern starter

Jed Morris went to the bullpen.
Matt Bunjo came on to get the final out in the fourth. The junior right-hander finished the fourth and worked through the seventh while the Eagles opened up an 11-3 led.
"Bunjo was the difference today." Morris said after the game. "He held them in check while our hitting got going. The long outing today should really help us with all the innings we will have to pitch this weekend."
The Aggies tied the game in the fifth, but the top of the Eastern order came through in the top of the sixth. Zach Belansek tripled to lead off, and
Timmy Gorton knocked him in with a single to right. Daddario, who has now reached safely in 16 consecutive games, doubled to center to drive in Gorton. Eastern scored another run on an error, but left the bases loaded to end the inning with a 6-3 lead.
Belansek led off the seventh and moved to third on a Gorton double. The two stood at those bases until
Brad Clemens drew a one-out bases-loaded walk to drive in a run.
Jordan Laboy drove in the eighth run of the game.
Daddario hit his second home run of the week to cap a three-run eighth to put the Eagles up 11-3. The junior first-baseman has 19 hits and 11 RBI's in his last eight games. His batting average has increased in each of his last six games and now sits at .455.
Those runs proved significant when the Aggies struck for four runs in the bottom of the eighth.
Justin Fredericks came on to get the final out of the eighth. After
Britton Lawrence homered and Dadario drew another bases-loaded walk to score the final two runs of the game, Fredericks retired three-straight hitters in the ninth to close out the game.
The win is the third in a row for the Eagles in what is an important week in the schedule. Eastern will host Delaware Valley in a doubleheader starting at noon tomorrow and then will finish the series with a doubleheader at FDU-Florham on Sunday.
