PHILADELPHIA– Eastern University Women's Lacrosse dropped a 23-9 decision to Haverford in a game held at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
Anna Charlebois scored four times in the loss for the Eagles.
Liz Brennan Scored in the first minute for the Eagles, but the Fords answered with seven-straight goals over a seven minute stretch to grab control of the game. The Fords dominated draw controls in the stretch and scored five times in three and a half minutes in the run.
Charlebois scored early in the tenth minute to break the Haverford run and start a three goal run for the Eagles.

Julie Haggan for a goal two minutes later to pull the Eagles to within 7-3.
Liz Brennan scored her second of three goals on the evening thirty seconds later to bring the Eagles to within three goals with 17:51 on the clock.
The Fords (4-2) ran off ten goals in a row to close out the first half up 17-4.
Eastern (1-3) scored the first two goals of the second half and played within a goal of the Fords, in the second half, but the Eagles were not able to close the gap further.
"We changed things up on defense today, " Head Coach
Kim Campbell said of her team's progress in the second half. "We are excited by the growth we saw in our defensive end. Haverford was able to capitalize on some poor decisions we made in clearing."
Campbell also noted that her teams started each half with a draw control and a goal. The Eagles took a step forward in draw controls as they won just under 50 percent.
Molly Lausten and Allie Gibbons each scored four times to lead Haverford.
The Eagles will host the Swarthmore College Garnet at 1 pm on Saturday.
