"We wanted to get out to a quick start and use stops on the defensive end to get opportunities for our offense," Head Coach
Eric Houston said after the game. "They are a high-scoring team. We felt if we could get stops, we would be able to run at the right times and play at our pace." Rosemont came into the game averaging nearly 84 points per game. they had outscored their opponents by nearly 25 points per game.
After the two teams matched each other in the second period, the Eagles removed any lingering doubt with a commanding 12-0 run to start the second half. "We knew they were going to come out with a lot of energy." Houston said of the quick start in the second half. "So we told them that we needed to do the little things right on the defensive end to be able to push the tempo back at them. We closed out on shots and rebounded well and we got that run out of that."
The Ravens briefly cut the deficit to 22 points with a 12-0 run midway through the third, but, led by four free throws from
Amber Anderson, the Eagles closed out the quarter on a 7-0 run. Eastern shot 53.8 percent in the frame.

When Taylor gets us into offense we can get shots. She had that burst in the fourth which was good." Price is 32 points away from 1000 for her career. She eclipsed the 500 rebound mark in Eastern's game at Elizabethtown. She had six double-doubles as a junior.
