ASTON, Pa.--Eastern University Field Hockey completed the 2011 regular season with a bang, blasting the Neumann University Knights 8-1 Thursday night.
Senior Yvonne Herbster was an unstoppable force on offense, netting two goals and assists on three consecutive Eastern goals.
Both Kelby Bolton and Brittany Moyer scored twice as well.Â
The Eagles hammered Neumann's defense all evening, outshooting them 22 to three and earning 20 penalty corners to Neumann's two.
Herbster started the scoring in the ninth minute on a quick give-and-go play from Katie Lipsit.Â
The Eagles offense went silent for the next twenty minutes until Kelby Bolton scored on a pass from Yvonne Herbster. Herbster earned her second assist in the 36th minute, connecting with Brittany Moyer for the score.
